AAJA member Mai Hoang marries Jerome Parmentier

AAJA member Mai Hoang, a business reporter for the Yakima Herald-Republic, got married on Saturday, Sept. 26, at St. Paul Cathedral in Yakima, Wash.
An AAJA Seattle contingent went to Yakima to share this joyous day with her: chapter secretary Venice Buhain, Tanya Woo, Anthony Dondero and myself.

Mai is a dedicated member of AAJA Seattle who came to both our Choppy Waters conference in January and our Lunar New Year Banquet in February. Some of you met Jerome when they came up in February for the banquet.
Mai works with local high school students who are interested in journalism and serves as the interim president of the William O. Douglas SPJ Pro chapter serving mid-Columbia, Yakima Valley and northeastern Oregon.
